DUDEBOX x Steam Whistle present Unsigned Toronto

Steam Whistle Brewing and DUDEBOX love child is the next UNSIGNED concert

Featuring Prince Innocence, BizZarh & Marlon James

It’s been a long time coming. People have been asking, people have been borderline insisting, so they’re doing it okay? Finally, Steam Whistle and DUDEBOX have tied the knot and for the first time proudly co-present UNSIGNED on Friday, September 25th, at the Roundhouse (255 Bremner Blvd). Tickets are $5 at the door and mega $s go to support the Artists Health Alliance. Doors open at 8 p.m.

The cute new couple have a lot in common. Both companies started with a few friends who wanted to share a good thing with more people. Both are big supporters of the local arts scene. And both love to throw huge parties and then give lots of money to charity. Combined, the two organizations have donated over $200,000 to local non-profits. So obviously, it was time to take the next step and seal the deal with a kiss while showcasing some of Toronto’s most exciting emerging acts.

Prepare for a night guaranteed to leave you begging for your morning coffee. Toronto’s very own funky soul child Marlon James opens the night, followed by surrealist Wiccan rappers BizZarh. Their lyrical flow will have Steam Whistle’s Cathedral of Beer floating smoothly into the next act. Prince Innocence closes the night with Talvi Faustmanns’ hypnotical vocals. It’s the kind of party only DUDEBOX and Steam Whistle can throw.

We’ve learned that expectation is the enemy, so the bar is  set realistically low. That means:

  • Guaranteed the best time ever no matter what happened in your past or will happen in your future for eternity including heaven and/or being a zombie

  • For sure you’ll meet your future life partner/dream pet

  • The bands will play music that will heal your soul and spirit forever

  • The beer will be Pilsner and the cans will be green

  • All sadness and suffering will be permanently relinquished and replaced with a utopian society where nothing is impossible and dreams become reality just by snapping your fingers

Come hang out on Friday September 25th. It’s gonna be pretty darn fun, still not sure? Get all the details at

DUDEBOX throws hype parties in weird places then gives lots of money to charity. After hosting massive jams in carwashes, crossfit gyms, construction sites, empty retail shops and random rooftops over the last 8 years, DDBX has raised and donated over $100,000 to various local and international charities. We're a tight group of friends that loves introducing emerging DJs and musicians whose tunes force people to sweat and kiss their friends on the mouth. Our motto is "you're a good person" because it's true. You can give them a follow on Twitter here
