Secret Lives

Secret Lives

“All human beings have three lives: public, private, and secret.” -Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Secret Lives is a space where our public personas and private lives collide, as 14 illustrators and designers explore the secret lives of private selves. The secrets and narratives in this exhibit are simultaneously ludicrous and heartbreaking, banal and provocative, awkward and celebratory. These are the secrets that comprise our private selves as we delve into what it means to be human: it is an investigation of our collective values both personal and social, and the contexts in which they exist. Secret Lives is a culmination of desires, emotions, loneliness, guilty pleasures and secret sorrows explored as a slice of humanity in one setting.
