Steam Whistle launches BIERGÄRTEN CRAFT BEER CRATE – FESTIVAL EDITION

Roundhouse Craft Beer Fest

An alternative to the Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival, the "Build Your Own Adventure" Craft Beer Crate offers beer lovers the opportunity to curate their own at-home experience.

TORONTO, August 16, 2021 – Steam Whistle Brewing is pleased to launch the Biergärten Craft Beer Crate – Festival Edition timed with what is normally the kick-off to their annual Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival. The Craft Beer Crate – Festival Edition gives beer drinkers an at-home sampling experience to rival the in-person event. Beer enthusiasts have the opportunity to curate their personal craft beer crate from over 40 beers by 24 Ontario Craft Brewers – including popular favourites, trending seasonals and hard-to-find specialty beers. The Festival Edition Beer Crate holds up to 28 craft beers, a choice of Biergärten food, craft beer-branded souvenirs, and includes home delivery in the GTA. Starting at a baseline of $39 (plus a $10 refundable crate deposit), the Festival Edition Crate price will vary with custom beer and food selections.

"This year would have marked our 10th annual Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival, but we aren't letting COVID-19 restrictions deter us from celebrating all the fantastic craft beer available in Ontario!" says Greg Taylor, Co-founder and CEO of Steam Whistle Brewing. "We're pleased to launch the Craft Beer Crate – Festival Edition as a safe, at-home alternative to our fan-favourite festival, offering a huge selection of locally made craft brews."

Included in the offerings are more than 40 beers from:

Steam Whistle Brewing All or Nothing Brewhouse Amsterdam Brewery
Big Rig Brewery Black Oak Brewing Co. Cameron's Brewing
Collective Arts Brewery The Collingwood Brewery Great Lakes Brewery
The Granite Brewery Henderson Brewing Co. Indie Ale House Brewing Co.
Junction Craft Brewery Lake of Bays Brewing Co. Left Field Brewery
MacLean's Ales Inc. Muskoka Brewery Nickel Brook Brewing Co.
People's Pint Brewing Company Rainhard Brewing Sawdust City Brewing Co.
Stockyards Brewing Walkerville Brewery Wellington Brewery

The Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival premiered in 2012 and is held annually in Roundhouse Park outside Steam Whistle Brewery. Showcasing more than 50 different breweries over the years, it has become the largest craft beer festival in Ontario with both a summer and winter edition.

Due to provincial restrictions, this year, Steam Whistle is bringing you a safe at-home Craft Beer Festival experience with the customizable and convenient Craft Beer Crate – Festival Edition.
