Responsible Alcohol Service:

• Vendors must comply with all provincial laws and festival policies, regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.

• Vendors are responsible for monitoring the consumption of alcohol by attendees and must refuse service to any individual showing signs of intoxication.

Respect for All:

Vendors and their staff must treat all festival attendees, staff and fellow participants with respect and courtesy.

Inclusive Environment:

Discrimination, harassment, or unwelcome behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.

Zero-Tolerance for Violence:

Violence or the threat of violence, including verbal abuse, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Reporting Assault:

• Vendors must immediately report any witnessed or reported instances of assault or harassment to festival organizers.

• Vendors are encouraged to provide assistance and support to anyone who appears distressed or in need of help, and to seek festival staff or security in case of an emergency.

Booth Operation:

• Vendors must serve tastings in accordance with festival guidelines.

• All promotional material and branding must be appropriate for all audiences.

• Vendors are expected to maintain a clean and organized booth space.

Staff Conduct:

• Vendors must always conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

• Vendor staff should be knowledgeable about the product they are serving and be able to answer attendee questions.

Health and Safety:

• Vendors must maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Compliance and Consequences:

• Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in corrective actions, including warnings, fines, or expulsion from the Winter Craft Beer Festival.

Right to Refuse Service:

• The Winter Craft Beer Festival organizers (Steam Whistle Brewing) reserve the right to refuse service to any Vendor not adhering to this Code of Conduct.
