Toronto's South Core has come alive this year with many new things to experience. We welcome you to visit our brewery but hope you'll stay for a full day and take in the many sights, tastes and sounds on offer at the heart of our City.
Every resident and visitor to the City should at some time take in a trip up the CN Tower, whether to view the incredible skyline of Toronto, dine in one of the City's best restaurants or - for those more daring - do the EdgeWalk! Right across the street from the brewery is one of Toronto's newest attractions! The Ripley's Aquarium has been wowing school children, delighting families and providing a great spot for a date night since it opened last year. Once a month they have a Jazz Night featuring our Pilsner, always worth checking out!
Due south of Steam Whistle Brewing is Harbourfront along the newly transformed Queens Quay. Plenty of parkland, an outdoor amphitheatre, patios, boat cruises and year-long cultural programming mean there are lots of reasons to wander along the bike paths, walking trails and docks of Toronto's inner harbour.
If you'd like to go a little further afield, we'd recommend renting a bicycle from Toronto's BIKE SHARE program. One of the stations is conveniently located outside our front doors so you can wheel over to some of the other top spots in Toronto, as recommended by travelers on TripAdvisor.ca:
Toronto Island Park - the ferry docks are just minutes from the brewery, with the Toronto Islands offering plenty of bike trails, beachfront, amusement rides and parkland.
St. Lawrence Market - voted by National Geographic as the world's best food market, it provides a glimpse into the diverse culinary tastes of Toronto. Some of the must-eats include great bagels, fresh fish & chips and the local favourite Peameal Bacon on a Bun.
For the sports enthusiast and die-hard Canadians, The Hockey Hall of Fame pays tribute to our national sport and favourite pastime. Awe-inspiring exhibits are appealing to those of all ages and skating-abilities!
This TO DO list is just a drop in the bucket of the amazing things on offer in Toronto! We hope you'll visit Steam Whistle as well as our neighbours.
