How To Navigate Craft Beer Fest Like A Pro

We put together some of our top tips for first timers so you can learn how to navigate our Craft Beer Fest like a pro!

Tickets & Info – Roundhouse Craft Beer Fest

GET HERE EARLY

Our Roundhouse Craft Beer Fest starts at noon on Saturday and Sunday. We highly recommend arriving early to snag one of our coveted hats. They change every year and are handed out to the first 500 folks through the door.

BE PREPARED

Our craft beer fest is rain or shine and attendees from last year might remember relentless heat that was broken with intermittent rain showers (which were very much appreciated, thanks Mother Nature). The beauty of being Canadian is embracing the unpredictability of our 4 seasons. If rain is in the cards bring a poncho, closed toe shoes and a great attitude.

TRY EVERYTHING

A Beerfest is your best opportunity to try that jalapeno mango sour you’ve always been curious to try. In addition to trying seasonal, limited edition beers from the best breweries in the province

HAVE A STRATEGY

Check out our list of participating breweries and cideries here. Many breweries share what they are bringing in advance on their social media feeds. Some of the most coveted casks are the first to tap out so taste strategically. Otherwise, we recommend working your way up to the highest IBU’s. That means if your first beer is a double IPA you’re going to overwhelm your taste buds right out of the gate. We recommend starting with something lighter both in the hop and malt profile and working your way up to the heavy hitters.

HIT THE HYDRATION STATION

We have 2 water stations on-site. Feel free to bring a water bottle and hydrate often.

BE SUN SMART

Sunstroke can be the worst buzzkill for any festival. In addition to drinking lots of water make sure you wear SPF and take shade breaks often.

FUEL UP

Make sure to pay a visit to our diverse selection of the city’s best food trucks to give you the energy you’ll need to party into the evening hours.

See you at Roundhouse Craft Beer Fest!
